Our story

Built by a writer,
for writers.

Arcavia started with a simple frustration: every writing tool I tried either wanted to write for me, or was built for someone in San Francisco, not someone writing in Bahasa Melayu in Kuala Lumpur.

I wanted a place that felt like a writer's desk — quiet, focused, mine. A place where the only voice on the page was my own. No autocomplete whispering the next sentence. No AI summarising what I just wrote. No model learning from my stories without my consent.

So I built Arcavia. A distraction-free writing platform for novelists and storytellers who want to create on their own terms — in English, in Bahasa Melayu, or in both.

It's still early. But if you've ever felt that your creativity deserves a space that respects it — Arcavia was built for you.

What we believe

Our Values

Our Zero AI Pledge

Arcavia will never use AI to generate text on your behalf, autocomplete your sentences, learn from your stories, or sell your writing data. This is not a marketing promise — it's a core architectural decision. There is no AI writing layer in Arcavia. There never will be. Your creativity belongs entirely to you.

Your words, only yours

We built Arcavia because we believe every sentence you write should be entirely yours. No AI autocomplete, no ghost-writing, no suggestions. Just your imagination on the page.

Built for our community

Malaysian and SEA writers have been underserved by Western writing tools that don't understand our languages, our stories, or our context. Arcavia is built with us in mind — bilingual from day one.

Your stories are private

We will never train AI on your stories, sell your data, or let advertisers near your creative work. What you write belongs to you — completely and always.

Craft over metrics

Writing tools that gamify every keystroke miss the point. Arcavia celebrates milestones, but never at the expense of the craft. We're here to help you finish your story — not to turn writing into a productivity app.
